Read about how to request automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account.  NOTE: The final date for ACH enrollment is May 19th for the 1st installment. Any applications received after this date will be enrolled in ACH for the 2nd installment of 2022 (payable in 2023).

When paying by check, be sure that the face of your check has the following: 
Name and current address
10-digit Property Index Number (PIN#)
Current date (no post-dated checks)
Valid signature
Made payable to Lake County Collector
Please use the envelopes provided when mailing in your payment.



  • Partial Payments
    As a courtesy to Lake County taxpayers, partial payments will be accepted for the current year taxes, with the understanding that a penalty of 1.5% per month will be charged to any installment balance after each set due date.

  • Pre-Payments December 1st through December 21st, the Lake County Treasurer’s Office will be accepting prepayments for tax year 2023 (payable in calendar year 2024).
